Chasing the Snowy Hour

To know GRiZ is to know he is an artist for the people, hence his frequent Free Show For the People pop-ups around the Denver area. I had an idea to bring this concept to the mountains, and in April 2023, I threw a FSFTP unlike any other. I produced an event that allowed a limited number of fans an intimate experience: a Chasing the Golden Hour set on a mountaintop in Aspen overlooking snowcapped peaks. I partnered with AspenX and Mountain Operations to facilitate lift access, production, security, sound design, alcohol, and a portal for fans to reserve their spots. The event occurred at the AspenX Beach Club atop Ajax Mountain, with +200 attendees enjoying the views, music, and an unforgettable aprés experience. Bringing my idea to life with the collaboration from the GRiZ and Aspen teams allowed me to create an unforgettable destination show.
